In this documentary, we introduce you to Frida Karlsson, the successful cross-country skier from Sollefteå, Sweden.
While she’s one of the best cross-country skiers in the world, Frida's personal objective isn't winning yet another golden medal. Instead, what matters to her is: enjoying cross-country skiing every day.
At home is where she recharges. Her home is the place that gives Frida the energy to pursue her passion. Her mother, a former cross country skier herself, introduced her to the sport. As a child, Frida also played football, handball, and ran, but she always wanted more, which is why she decided to become an individual athlete. Since Nordic skiing was always close to her heart, the decision was easy to make.
For Frida, cross-country skiing means exploring nature, pushing herself on the bad days, and enjoying the easy sunny days. While being a skier is one of the most important parts of her life, being herself and not putting on a mask is her real summit.
