Setting up my first dash
Setting up my first dash cam in the car was very easy to do(took me about 5 to 10 minutes to put in the car). Recording with the Nextbase 312gw dash cam and downloading the files off the dash cam onto the free app or downloading it to your computer vis a USB cable was also very easy to do. I am hoping the video helps all new drivers understand that a dash cam is easy to use and is an added benefit to your car. Lots more car insurance firms are now asking you if you have any dash cam footage if you were involved in a car accident, so it is in your interest to set up the dash cam correctly and check the footage so you know if the worst happens you will be covered. I do recommend using a 32gb micro sd card and formatting the micro sd card every couple of weeks to help keep the card clear.

If you are fitting the dash cam power cable round the side of the windscreen and side pillar, check to see if you have an airbag in the pillar, if you have an airbag, then try to avoid blocking the side curtain airbag. If unsure contact a professional installer for advise or to install.
