Are you planning a short China Trip in 2017? Think you need a China Visa? Looking for information on the China Transit Visa (Beijing 72hr Visa or Shanghai 144hr Visa)? This video should answer your questions!
Many people (including me) can stress about obtaining a visa to enter China, however if you are only visiting China for a short period, you can take advantage of China's Transit Visa process.
This video details 6 points to help you plan your China Trip -

This video is purely my experience of the China Transit Visa on a recent trip to Shanghai. In this video I mention points at which there is a red arrow - Take a look below for further information -
1 - ELIGIBLE COUNTRIES -
European Countries - Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Russia, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia (FYROM), Albania, Belarus, Monaco
6 American Countries: the United States, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile
2 Oceania Countries: Australia, New Zealand
6 Asian Countries: Korea, Japan, Singapore, Brunei, United Arab Emirates, Qatar
2. TIME AND DURATION
Cities only with the 72-hour free entry policy:
Passengers transiting in Guangzhou, Chengdu, Qingdao, or Changsha are allowed to travel in the whole province.
Passengers transiting in Beijing, Chongqing, Harbin, Guilin, Kunming, Wuhan, Xiamen, or Tianjin cannot leave the administrative area of the transit city.
Passengers stopping over in Dalian or Shenyang can travel in these two cities.
Passengers transiting in Shanghai, Zhejiang, or Jiangsu can move around the three places. With the implementation of the 144-Hour Visa-Free Transit Policy, they can actually stay for as long as 144 hours.
