Yishun. We've heard things about
Yishun. We've heard things about Yishun such as its the 'hood where weird things happen and gangs are common...so we decided to make a family day out of visiting.
We met up with our good friend Dalini who stays in Yishun and knows the area well. She took us to buy some of her local childhood snacks from growing up in Singapore. We hopped on bus and made the short journey to the beautiful Seletar Reservoir where we actually encountered out first gang.
We tried the snacks and walked out along the pier to enjoy the views and the slowly setting sun before heading back on another bus to grab some dinner at Yishun Park Hawker Centre. we asked Dalini about some of the headlines we had read and the stories we had hear to get a locals point of view.
