Selma Ergech is a Turkish actres and model. She has gained great popularity in the USA, Europe and Iran. And the actress gained worldwide popularity after the TV series The Magnificent Century, where she played Hatice Sultan.
Beautiful Selma was born in Germany, in the city of Hamm, on November 1, 1978, into a family of doctors. Her father is Turkish and worked as a doctor in a hospital. And my German mother was a nurse in the hospital. Her entire childhood was spent in constant moving. When she was five years old, her family decided to move to her father’s homeland, Turkey. At first they lived for a short time in Mersin, and a little later they moved to Ankara. Here the future Turkish star graduated from primary school. But the family returned to Germany again. Her father received a good job offer. Due to frequent changes of place of residence, Selma grew up very modest and uptight. She had practically no friends. The actress admitted that she still remains shy.
