Acceptance Testing


Unit Testing
It is performed on the individual units of source code assigned areas.
It is a level of the software testing process where individual units/components of a software/system are tested.

Integration Testing
In Integration testing process where individual units are combined and tested as a group.

Integration testing can be done in three ways:
Bottom-up integration testing
Top-down integration testing
Big Bang integration testing

System Testing
In system testing process a complete, integrated system/software is tested.

Acceptance Testing
A level of the software testing process where a system is tested for acceptability.

Commonly this level of Acceptance testing include the following four types:
User acceptance testing
Operational acceptance testing
Contractual and regulatory acceptance testing
Alpha and beta testing
