We recently made a video comparing many of the different Hasbro and Takara Tomy launchers and you most definitely need an upgrade if you’re still using the Hasbro light launchers! The Cyclone Fury String Launcher in this set is mostly a recolour of the Dual Threat launcher from years ago, but it’s still going to be better than using most ripcord launchers. Although the design of the grip on the launcher has changed slightly, it’s a pretty good improvement in terms of handling. The worst part is that you won’t get any extra power out of this as the Dual Threat launcher. The string length is the same and the gearing feels very similar to the Dual Threat when you actually pull the string. Sooooo….yeah it’s still not great, but huge upgrade if you compare it to light launchers. The dual spin makes it convenient at least.
