(18 Mar 2019) The New Zealand embassy in Seoul was open on Monday for visitors to sign a book of condolence for victims of last Friday's deadly shootings at mosques in Christchurch.
Visitors will be able ro sign the book until March 20th in the South Korean capital.
In his message, 21-year old student, Ryu Hong In, condemned the attacks, telling The Associated Press after signing the book that "hatred begets hatred through such attacks."
New Zealand's Ambassador to South Korea, Philip Turner, said the attacks did not reflect the peaceful society of New Zealand.
"This is not who we are as people in New Zealand," Turner said.
