This is how to make
This is how to make true donairs you can find in Nova Scotia. These are not Gyros. Traditionally the donair is made from Lamb but due to the cost of lamb, ground beef is used. preheat your oven to 350 and cooking times will vary however 5-10 mins should be more than enough if you get the meat rolled thin enough. You can also use an electric griddle. Enjoy! all measurements are in teaspoons
Donair meat ingredients:
2Lbs lean ground beef
5 tsp bread crumbs
1 tsp salt
2 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp black pepper
3 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp cayenne
4 tsp dry chicken soup base mix
