BRANDI CARLILE's rich voice and literate storytelling belie her youth. After debuting with a self-titled album in 2005, the Washington State-bred Carlile saw her fanbase mushroom with her sophomore disc, The Story, which sold 313,000 copies boasting songs like the title track and “Turpentine.” Several of Carlile’s songs have appeared in commercials and on televisions shows such as Grey’s Anatomy. On her latest CD Give Up The Ghost, on Columbia Records, she has let her guard down and offers her most candid recording to date. It even features a duet with Elton John, who is among the growing legion of Carlile fans. Brandi will be performing with her full band in an “unplugged” performance for WoodSongs.

MATT MORRIS is a songwriter on the verge of a major breakout. His new album "When Everything Breaks Open" was produced by Charlie Sexton (Bob Dylan) and Tennman label founder Justin Timberlake. In fact, Matt has known Justin since the early 1990s. With appearances on Ellen and Letterman in the books, two CD's in the Billboard top 25 and Matt's duet with Justin on Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" for the Hope for Haiti benefit being the number one iTunes download (over a million views on YouTube and MTV combined) Matt has grown from an award-winning songwriter to a multi-talented recording artist with one of the most ambitious albums of 2010.
