KOYLA CHICKEN

Ingredients

Chicken    1 kg
Green chilies   6 julienne
Coriander leaves   ½ cup chopped
Ginger garlic paste  2 tbsp
Tomatoes    6 blended
Cashew nuts roasted  10
Allspice powder   1 tsp
Red chili powder   2 tsp
Salt     1-½ tsp
Butter    4 ounce
Lemon juice    1 tbsp
Fresh cream   ½ cup
Coal     1 large piece

METHOD

Marinate chicken with ginger garlic paste, allspice, chili powder and salt for 30 mins. Heat butter in a wok, add marinated chicken, cook for 2 mins, add green chilies julienne, sauté for 1 min, add blended tomatoes and ½ cup water, cover and cook for 15 mins, add grinded cashew nuts, mix, let it cook for 5 mins. Lastly add lemon juice, coriander leaves, cook for 5 mins till oil leaves the masala, add fresh cream, mix gently, remove, place burning coal and give dum, serve hot with nan or rice.
