Nolan North, the American voice actor with over 300 roles in voice acting under his belt, receives the BAFTA Special Award for his outstanding contribution to performance in games. He also discussed his career journey, exploring the virtues of going with the flow, the difference between working on-set and providing voices for games and his acting process (and keep an eye out for that amazing Sean Connery impression).
Nolan North’s notable roles include Desmond Miles from Assassin’s Creed, Ghost from the Destiny series, David in The Last of Us and plenty more. He started out in stand-up and acting, working across television before focussing on voice acting. He has found particular success in playing Nathan Drake in Uncharted, a role he has been three-time BAFTA-nominated.
