Ishigaki Japan

Our stop at Ishigaki, Japan was surprisingly beautiful! We took a free shuttle from the post to the Ferry station courtesy of the town of Ichigaki and then a 15 minute ferry to Taketomi Island. For 300 yen each a taxi drove us to Kondoi beach. Wow! The aqua color of the ocean and sandy beach took our breath away. We loved spending time there and even walking through the water to the sand bar. It was not too crowded but just a few visitors. Later we walked to Kaiji beach and then through the small town all the way back to the ferry station. What a relaxing and lovely day.
