Mr. Robot Season 1 Episode 1 recap and review. eps1.0_hellofriend.mov is the Mr Robot pilot and we break it down.

Mr. Robot stars Rami Malek as Elliot Alderson, and we meet his character in season 1 episode 1. The Mr. Robot pilot gives us hints that Elliot is an unreliable narrator even though he seems to be very skilled as his cyber security job. We meet his childhood friend Angela played by Portia Doubleday, and his boss Gideon at Allsafe security.
In Mr Robot season 1's first episode we also meet the character Mr. Robot who follows Elliot home after he stops a hack against his company's biggest client ECorp. Elliot refers to ECorp as Evil Corp and in s1 episode 1 we see him meet with Tyrell Wellick for the first time. We also see him visit Mr. Robot's arcade on Coney Island where he has a hacking group called FSociety.
This is a Mr. Robot Season 1 Episode 1 rewatch, but it doesn't give up any spoilers for season 2. We are going to look at every season 1 episode individually, and make a recap and review for each one while we are waiting for the new Mr. Robot season airing October 11, 2017, on the USA network. If you're new to the series you can gain a better understanding about the Story that Sam Esmail is telling, and get ready to see what Elliot and FSociety are planning in the next installment.
