This is a Met Office UK Weather forecast looking at the renewed flood risk from Storm Babet during Friday 20 and Saturday 21 October 2023, recorded on 20/10/2023.
Storm Babet has already brought flooding to several parts of the UK. The highest rainfall totals have been in eastern Scotland from Thursday morning through to Friday afternoon and – with heavy rain returning to the same area on Saturday – there’s a renewed flood risk and a red warning for parts of Angus and Aberdeenshire. Bringing you today’s weather forecast is Aidan McGivern.
