ATF CHANGE PROCEDURE
ATF replacement is very essential to those cars with automatic transmission, this will ensure protection of transmission components from wear and tear, and prevents functional abnormality during gear shifts. ATF replacement varies every car make and brands some need to be replaced at 40,000KM ODO and some are even at 80,000KM ODO, so its very essential that you read your user manuals especially to those details that calls for Preventive maintenance, cause if you missed the recommended ATF change of your transmission, this may lead to catastrophic transmission failures or even changing your whole transmission because of missing out your preventive maintenance schedule.,
ATF plays a huge role in an automatic transmission, its why your car moves and shifts flawlessly as it speeds up, this provides pressure to your transmission turbine to make your car move at a certain speed. So disregarding and neglecting your ATF PMs is very unacceptable because it is the only thing that makes your transmission do what is intended for your car.
