The lore that bhansali didn’t tell you…

Gherdaar Ghagharoo, a melody that echoes through time, once sung to rouse a Rajputi queen from her sleep, weaving the magic of heritage and history into the fabric of dawn.

Also,

Here, "Khamma Ghani" is used as a general greeting in the Marwari language and it said to have originated in the Mewar Empire in the early 15th century, and widely used by Rajasthani people today.

"Khamma" literally originates from "kshama", or forgiveness. And "Ghani" means "a lot". I believe it was solicited in advance for any offence or ill-feelings raised by the course of one's words/actions.

But it has evolved today to signify "many greetings"/"many blessings", used very commonly as a "hello" or a "welcome".

The usual usage that I've heard from friends is "Khamma Ghani Sa", "sa" being used for respect. To which the reply is "Ghani Ghani Khamma Sa".

Khamma Ghani to you :)
