Illegal Chinese POGO workers deported to China | ABS-CBN News

More than 70 Chinese workers nabbed in various illegal Philippine Offshore Gaming Operations (POGO) in Bamban, Tarlac; Porac, Pampanga and Pasay City were deported back to China Friday. The Chinese nationals underwent immigration inquest proceedings and were found to be in violation of immigration laws for failing to present valid travel documents. Winston Casio, spokesman of the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission, said nearly half of the Chinese workers, who were arrested in Bamban, Tarlac earlier this year, will be brought to Shanghai where they will face criminal charges. The rest will be brought to Xi'an, China via chartered flight, he said.
