Welcome to our first-time reaction to the seventh episode of the One Piece live action adaptation that just released on Netflix!
Today we watch the seventh episode of the live action adaptation of One Piece. In this episode we finally got Nami's backstory. We've been asking for it all season long and we finally got it! We were not ready for it to be so tragic. The last few minutes of this episode are both heartwarming and gut wrenching. Emily Rudd killed it with her performance!
Luffy, Zoro, Ussop and Sanji go on their way to find Nami so they can get her back to her crew. We loved the storytelling during this episode and how it was an allegory for much more serious themes. We knew there was more to Nami's story and we are so happy we get to empathize with her. She's been through a lot!
Arlong and his group are terrorizing Conomi Islands. This episode made us really hate Arlong and his crew. It is clear now more than ever that he will not stop hurting people until someone puts and end to it.
We're all in for this pirate adventure that is ahead of us! So join us as we set our sails and head into episode 1x7 of this highly-anticipated adaptation of one of the greatest anime and manga series ever created.
