Hello Everyone,
I am Dr. Saurabh Mani Tripathi and this is a short Lecture (Part-H) on the topic "Direct Current Machines: E.M.F. Equation". This short lecture explains the derivation steps of EMF equation in DC generator. The same equation is also applicable for expressing Back-EMF in DC motor due to the fact that the motor action and generator action occur simultaneously in electrical machine. This short lecture is useful for the U.G. students, in particular, who are studying the electrical engineering / electrical machines course(s). I hope you will find this lecture useful.
