When I arrived in Germany on December 29th, I did not know about the intense competition in the Aufnahmeprüfung (admission test) for Studienkolleg, a course that prepares students for university studies.
I didn't initially get admission into the universities like Darmstadt, Kaiserlautern, Halle, and Munich. But I didn't let that stop me. I set my sights on the prestigious Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and started preparing for it's exam.
Guess what? My hard work paid off ! I aced the KIT Exam and got a direct entry into the second semester.
