Hello & welcome along on this walk! If you're new here - my name is Sarah and each week I head out on a walk with my faithful companion Jack Spaniels, to explore somewhere in this beautiful country of Scotland and hopefully find something to paint back in my studio at home.
As we head properly into Autumn, I thought it was time for another lovely woodland walk. This week we head to Abernethy - a beautiful historic village in Perth & Kinross. We walk along the Witches Road to Abernethy Glen, climb a hill called Castle Law and attempt to storm the round tower.
It was a beautiful sunny autumnal day and there was so much to explore!
We found some beautiful apples growing on a huge apple tree - hopefully not poisoned by the coven of 22 witches...I wanted to use this subject matter to start experimenting with a new watercolour technique that I haven't used before - wet on wet. See how I got on with it at the end of the video!
