The Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church in Berlin

The Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church is one of Berlin's most famous landmarks. Its original West Tower was partially destroyed during a bombing by the Allied Forces in 1943. Although it was later restored, it was intentionally not completely rebuilt, and its ruins serve as a memorial against war and destruction, symbolically marking the center of West Berlin.
