In December 2020, my long-suffering
In December 2020, my long-suffering usual videographer and Tweed Jacket Reviews co-founder Mr Franks filmed a review of the brand new MG HS Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) at Summit Garage in Dudley. Due to the lack of daylight, poor weather and several other factors beyond our control, the review was very rushed, and I was never quite happy with the fact that we had not been able to spend more time with an MG HS PHEV.
Courtesy of MG Motor UK, I recently got the chance to have one of these for a week, and cover a massive distance during the course of it in order to thoroughly test what has become one of the most popular cars on the channel. In this third part, we cover another 300 miles or so, complain about car recommendations, film an old Focus by the sea, drop mysterious hints about cars filmed in Northamptonshire, do some slightly hurried filming on the way to the station and finally come to some conclusions about this amazing plug-in hybrid. Nothing untoward, then!
