Taking on WATER on passage sailing from Fiji to Vanuatu.

We spring a leak during our passage from Denarau to Port Vila.  This was an easy fix to something that could have been way worse than it was.  Other than that, this passage was a fast one in great breeze and moderate seas.  In our opinion, the Amel Super Maramu is one of the best blue water boats ever built, but stuff still breaks or goes wrong.  The ocean will punish the complacent if you are out there long enough. This was a reminder to check all of our systems, all of the time.
