Hello, today I'm testing out different ways to prep a pen nib. Whether it's for calligraphy or drawing with a fountain pen or a dip pen, it's important to prep your nib properly. Or is it?

I want find out what the best way of cleaning and prepping a pen nib is. Is soap better than toothpaste? How long should I burn my pen nib? Why is there a potato? Hopefully, this video will answer all your fountain pen and dip pen nib prepping questions!
