Asthma Care Coverage Update in 2023

This webcast provides an overview of the American Lung Association’s released annual data on Medicaid coverage and barriers to guidelines-based asthma care across all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. Data collection for the 2023 release is based on the National Asthma Education and Prevention Program (NAEPP) guidelines. The webcast also provides information about access to SMART therapy in state Medicaid programs and barriers to implementation of this new treatment option.
