Liquefied Petroleum Gas,
Compressed Natural Gas,
LPG or lp gas
Liquefied Petroleum Gas, also called Autogas or simply lp gas. LPG mostly propane (C3H8) or butane (C4H10), most commonly, mixes including both propane and butane. LPG is a greenhouse gas, however, a clean burning one. Compressed into liquid and stored or transported in a cylinder or larger vessel, typically 5-7 bars. LPG more dense than air, at a relative density of 1.5219:1. LPG Produce more energy than CNG. Easier to storage and transportation. LPG burns less volume per hour than CNG
CNG
Compressed Natural Gas, CNG produced from Natural gas, methane (CH4) gas. CNG, eco friendly, considered a green fuel. CNG is lighter than air, at a relative density of 0.5537:1. it produces less energy than LPG. CNG delivered through the pipeline.
lp gas or LPG burns less volume per hour than CNG. For proper combustion, LPG requires an air to gas ratio of approximately 25:1 whilst CNG a 10:1 ratio.
