The Ventricles are these "hollow" areas in the brain where choroid plexus can be found. Choroid Plexus produces cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) to be sent to the subarachnoid space. CSF cushions, nourishes, and protects the brain and spinal cord. So without the ventricles we would not be good!
