International Odissi Festival organised by Bansi Bilash at IHC, New Delhi from 17-19 December, 2001

International Odissi Festival was conceptualised as a tribute to the legendary Guru Shri Deba Prasad Das Bansi Bilash, Bhubaneswar. The first of its kind inviting both national and international dancers in Odissi dance, it was an attempt to document the nuances of all different Gurukuls in Odissi with lecture demonstrations in the mornings and performances in the evenings. A treasure trove, these recordings would bring an art enthusiast closer to the authentic dance traditions in Odissi.
