Ragas on Guitar Episode 3 - Pentatonics in Ragas

This is all about using melody and rhythm to create tension and release in music. Four different ragas use the major pentatonic pattern as their ascending scale, then add extra notes on the way back down. These are used as examples to demonstrate melodic dissonance, rhythmic syncopation and resolution on the first note of the scale or the first beat of the rhythm cycle.
