Cantonese has 6-9 tones depend on the regional dialects. It is one of the most difficult features you have conquer if you want to learn Cantonese. But the good news is once you get past the tones, everything else is a breeze, Cantonese word order and grammar are quite flexible and vocabulary is super intuitive and straightforward (e.g., we only have one word for third-person pronoun)
