Ramadan kareem to the Muslim citizens of Israel—and to Muslims around the world.
About a million and a half Muslims live in Israel. I'm proud of the role they play in our society.
It doesn't always make the front pages,
but in Israel, Muslims, Jews, Christians and believers of other faiths,
live together, work together and thrive together.
In the Middle East, Muslims have been the biggest victims of terror—from ISIS to the Iranian regime.
My hope is that this Ramadan is a month of peace and prosperity for all. A time to enjoy the company of your loved ones. And to reflect on the blessings we share together.
We must never give up on the struggle for peace and the struggle for dignity for all humanity.
