Thessaloniki is in a region of Greece that is steeped in ancient history with Alexander the Great being born nearby. Paul’s ministry there once again met with challenges and he had to escape from the city. In Berea he met with believers who had been a witness to the church ever since as they searched the Bible for themselves. May we always test everything by the Bible like those in Berea as we continue to learn today.
