146 - Auto Maintenance Time | 2018 GMC Acadia P0014 & P0128 Codes | Check Engine Light

This video is about the P0128 code and P0014 code for a 2018 GMC Acadia done with @doingthings244 and a huge thanks to him!!
P0128 is for temp low for coolant. To fix this one we will have to remove the air cleaner outlet duct and the air cleaner to give us some room to work.
Next we will be removing the Engine intake manifold cover. Before we took it off we blew the engine off with some air to get all the dirt away from the intake. Engine coolant water outlet is what it is called per GM. This is an entire assembly that includes the thermostat. This is what we concluded the most likely problem was with the check engine light code P0128. While having this trouble code it made the AC not blow cold either. We had the car looked at when the check engine light was not on but the AC was not working. The check engine light would come on and then go away. So we had the dealer look at the ac without the light on. The dealer tech thought it was an ac part in the right rear of the car that was bad behind the rear bumper.
Also while in there we decided to change the spark plugs as well since the car rolled over 100,000 miles.
The P0014 cam shaft sensor code is next. Per the old interwebs at google the "trouble code P0014 is set, it means that the exhaust camshaft in Bank 1 is more advanced than the engine computer has told it to be" The location for this is on the driver side of the motor on the front side of the engine. They just pop out with a bolt holding them in.
