China Eastern 787 Business Class Suite | Ningbo to Chengdu

When positioning to Chengdu Tianfu to witness the inaugural flight at China’s latest mega-airport, I had the fortune to catch a China Eastern 787 frequency from the second tier city of Ningbo to Chengdu.

Domestic premium cabin in China does not have a heavy service component hence why I have rarely reviewed them in the past. However, China Eastern’s nascent 787 aircraft is equipped with one of the best business class hard product in the country.

Traditionally speaking, China Eastern is not a pleasant airline for long haul travel but in the post Covid era of domestic shuttling, it is indeed a viable option.
