Every year in the summer
Every year in the summer we take a break for a few days and head over to Ischia. A 2 hour ferry ride from Positano, the island is much bigger than Capri and much quieter too.
The ferry to Ischia leave Positano at 0900 and arrives at 1100.
The return ferry is at 1620. I would not advise trying to go and come back in one day, you would not have enough time on the island.
We stayed at https://www.relaisbijouxischia.it/ a beautiful B&B just 5 minutes drive from Ischia Port.
