Austria's largest federal state is
Austria's largest federal state is Styria. Presenter Tamina Kallert and her travel companion, the actor Lorenz Kabas, are out and about in the south of Styria. Southern Styria is a wine country and a farming country. Gentle hills, vineyards, fields and meadows and charming villages make southern Styria the “Tuscany of Austria”, as it is also called. The Austrians themselves also like to spend their holidays here. The capital of Styria is beautiful Graz with its magnificent Renaissance buildings and a lively cultural life, UNESCO World Heritage Site and, in 2003, European Capital of Culture.
