Looking for a discovery writing technique to add to your toolkit? Try out having your character write an AITA-Reddit Post.

This technique is useful when you need to better understand the motivation and justification behind your character's more shady actions in their own words. Have the character write an AITA-Post the same way they would if they were posting it on reddit for verdict. This will give you a better understanding of their motivation and point of view. After all, no one sees themselves as the villain of their story.
