The Modi government has issued an advisory to the state governments over rising cases of mystery pneumonia cases in neighbouring China. China is reporting a massive spike in pneumonia-like cases, mostly among children. A children’s hospital in Beijing is admitting 7000 sick children daily, reported The Independent. India’s health ministry has asked all the states to ‘immediately review” medical preparedness, but not panic at the moment.
