Othello ist eine Mod die Hauptsächlich das Minental durch neu gestaltete Gebiete und teilweise ganz neue Standorte erweitert, genauso wie neue Gegenstände, Objekte und Monster hinzufügt.
Die Geschichte ist die ganz normale Gothic 1 Handlung.
Es gibt nur ein paar kleine neue Quests die aus vorhandenen Dialogen gebastelt wurden.
