Had a box of VHS tapes of Sonic 2 beta footage from back when I worked at STI. I was a beta tester for the game. Some footage was anomalies that was filmed at the time of playtesting and some were filmed later on where I managed to pick up some of the carts SEGA was about to dispose of. This seems to be the unused super sonic cutscene from back before it was scrapped. Dated around the time of the "Simon Wai" proto, this cutscene is the only noticeable difference to me. The tape seemed to be incomplete, blacking out at some parts. Tape rot perhaps. The color is messed up for sure so that could be it.
