Queen Mantfombi Dlamini Zulu | Reading of Her Majesty's will

The late AmaZulu regent - Queen Mantfombi Dlamini Zulu - has proposed in a letter that her oldest son - the 46-year old Prince Misuzulu Zulu - ascend the throne. This wish was expressed in a letter to the Traditional Prime Minister - Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi - in a letter dated the 23rd of March. This was shortly after Queen Mantfombi was appointed regent - whose task it was to oversee the succession of the throne. The letter and her will has been read to members of the royal family by Advocate TG Madonsela. The queen says in the letter her proposal is subject to approval by the royal family.
