So, I picked up the Crucial X8 portable SSD hard drive. This is a very compact external solid-state drive that provides speeds up to 1050MB/s. You can purchase it in 1TB, 2TB or 4Tb as well as lower models, which I would not recommend as they are not very useful down the road. The Crucial X8 works with Windows, macOS, PS4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. You can even use this external SSD with the iPhone 15 Pro to shoot ProRes video at 4k 60 FPS or to transfer files to the iPhone. If you are looking for external storage, fast transfer speeds, or to expand your existing storage on your computer or gaming console, the Crucial X8 is one of the best external SSD hard drive I have used.
