This video outlines how to repair a leaking hydroboost unit which is an extremely common problem on many General Motors vehicles. A rebuilt unit is $200+, and the seal that actually causes the leak is available cheap at the above link. This is a repair that can be done by the average DIY consumer, it's very easy. It took me about 2 hours, while also filming although I had a few hands to help. If you are experiencing a power steering leak that is coming from near the firewall, in between the hydroboost and the brake master cylinder, chances are this seal is the issue!
