NCRTC Begins Track Laying Activities in Delhi Section of Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS Corridor

At the Anand Vihar underground station, track slabs are being laid on both up and down platforms. The work will progress from the station into the tunnel and further towards the New Ashok Nagar station. It's noteworthy that both tunnels from Anand Vihar to New Ashok Nagar have already been completed. To reduce vibrations caused by the high-speed movement of trains within the NCRTC tunnel, a mass-spring system is being employed. Before laying the track slabs in the tunnel, a first-level concrete layer is applied to the tunnel floor, followed by the installation of the mass spring sheet and then the track. After the installation of track slabs, activities for signaling and traction (OHE) will commence. With this track technology, NCRTC will be capable of operating high-speed and high-frequency RRTS trains, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers while maintaining a design speed of 180 kilometers per hour during operations. #rrts #rapidrail #delhighaziabadmeerutrrts
