In this video I show how to construct a perpendicular bisector with a compass and straightedge and explain why the technique works. To explain why, I use concepts from triangle proofs such as the SSS postulate, ASA postulate, Isosceles Triangle Theorem, Reflexive Property, perpendicular lines, linear pairs, right angles.
This video is more about understanding the technique behind geometry constructions and I encourage you to prove that the other construction techniques are valid.
