If you cannot view a video because it is age restricted, but you still want to view it, then there are a few solutions to fix this problem.
I will show you how to tweak YouTube settings and if it does not help I will show you another trick that will surely solve this problem and remove age restriction.
Just follow these steps:
1. Open up YouTube app and login to your profile if you haven’t already;
2. Click on your profile picture at the top right corner;
3. Select “Settings”;
4. Go to “General” section;
5. Scroll down and switch the toggle off next to “Restricted mode”;
6. If this doesn’t help and you still can’t view age restricted video, then go back to YouTube app main page and click on your profile picture at the top right again;
7. Click on “Manage your Google account”;
8. Go to “Personal info” tab;
9. Click on “Birthday” option;
10. Click on the pencil icon next to your birthday and change it so that you would be over 18 years old (as you need to be over 18 years old to view age restricted content);
11. After that, click on “Update” at the bottom right corner.
Done! Now you should be able to view age restricted videos.
