Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., asked Brett Kavanaugh why he has not asked the FBI to investigate Ford’s statements. “I’ll do whatever the committee wants,” he said. The Supreme Court nominee grew angry during questioning, interrupting the senator and saying that he "wanted to be here right away" to deny the sexual assault allegation by Christine Blasey Ford, and claimed his family had been "destroyed." He also addressed another allegation of sexual misconduct from a woman named Julie Swetnick. "The Swetnick thing is a joke. That is a farce," he said.
