The Unimog is a rattling legend, virtually the Swiss army knife among vehicles. It stands for versatility and the art of engineering. In Waldsee near Ludwigshafen, the ScaleArt company builds the cult vehicle in miniature format. Unimog dreams become reality here on a scale of 1:14.5.

But the "little brother" is not a toy, but real mechanical engineering art. A helical 3-speed manual transmission, portal axles with differential locks and hydraulic elements that can lift up to 80 kilograms at 20 bar - everything has to be just like the real thing, from the true-to-the-original wheel nut to the driving characteristics with real driving noises. Hundreds of parts are milled, lasered and soldered, wired, screwed and installed for hours.

This requires ingenious ideas and a very steady hand. After all, components, screws and nuts are often only millimeters in size. With fine tools, a lot of skill and patience, a small legend is created that is in no way inferior to its great role model.
